It’s been a while, and a lot has changed, changes that mark the beginning of a new chapter for A House Like This. Since founding the business in 2018, we’ve grown steadily thanks to the incredible support of customers like you.
We’ll be honest though: last year was our hardest yet. While AHLT is a huge part of our hearts, you might not know that we still balance our candle and aromatherapy company alongside other work commitments, and 2025 brought its fair share of challenges.
As a small, two-person team, we made the decision to truly practice what we preach - to live more mindfully and invest our time and energy into the spaces and moments that make us feel our best.
That meant some big life changes. We changed jobs, got married, and relocated from London after selling the home we renovated, the very place where AHLT began, and finding a new project in Shrewsbury. It was a full-on year, but one that’s left us feeling hopeful and excited for what’s ahead.
Now, with more space and a new home, we’re ready to bring you more of what you love from AHLT. We can’t wait to expand the business and introduce new products, new fragrances, and fresh additions alongside our existing ranges. We truly hope you’ll continue this journey with us as we step into this next chapter together.
