One of the best things about the change of seasons is that all your comforting favourites make a reappearance. Perhaps it’s the return of your much loved leather jacket as the days become cooler or getting your favourite cosy blanket back out of Summer retirement. We don’t know about you but also knowing that you’ll be able to hide a multitude of sins under that cherished collection of oversized jumpers is usually a pretty exciting prospect as you say goodbye to the Summer.
Aside from the visual cues from our dear friend Mother Nature, such as the changing of leaves as they fall from the trees, it’s also the little things like that flavoured latte at the coffee shop that after one sip instantly makes you realise it’s finally Autumn. And let’s not forget candles. Autumn is all about your scented candles and creating a cosy home.
We are both drawn to the mythology behind the changing of the seasons, the Pagan calendar and ritualistic side of the harvest season is steeped in mystery and magic and we love to bring a little of that into our home through tablescapes and mantle settings dedicated to Samhain.

WHAT’S IT SMELL LIKE? One of our friends refuses to call FYRE by its name as it’s got that “sexy man” scent to it. In hindsight perhaps Sexy Man was a better name for this decadent, leathery scent of jasmine, saffron and embers. |
